let's stick together just a little bit longer Kiriko's words carry a certain seriousness as she speaks with the yearling. He had come to her with an important question, one that she really did need to answer with a degree of care. Sure, he's a boy-- a year old. Wet behind the ears, inexperienced in the ways of the world. The information that Kiriko provided him would be matter of fact, and complete to the best of her knowledge. She wouldn't mislead him, and maybe that's why her tone is judge-serious, with an expression to match. In these moments she lacks some of her usual softness. "Think about the areas that you are the most sensitive-- particularly, the muzzle. They are the places where we feel the most, so they will hurt the most when you attack them." Kiriko begins, thinking through her words as she speaks. "If you carve open as much of the surface area as you can, it will maximize the damage you do. It's not likely they'll be life threatening, but they'll hurt and continue hurting as they heal." She watches Tachi carefully, curious about what his reaction may be. "Does that answer your question?" Did he have more questions for her? Kiriko is keen, engaged with the boy. |
