Stir the coals

A husky laugh left him as the little wolf ducked under his towering forearm. Her execution was impressive for a wolf that didn’t know how to fight. Moving out of the obstacle of his body, and leaping for his throat. Her teeth latched on and a hearty rumble escaped him.

Instead of being pulled down by her weight, he pushed up, pulling her off the ground until she was forced upwards. Her vulnerable belly exposed. He launched himself forward back legs pushing hard against the earth as he ducked down, and grabbed at her belly. He clamped his jaws down, not enough to break skin, though she’d feel his elongated fangs brushing against her skin. He attempted to continue his momentum forward, so he could knock her onto her back, with him above her.
