Stir the coals

Ignita glanced behind her and saw his falcon alerting him of her movements. She narrowed her eyes as she thought about how to escape such a fast little bird.
She burst out of the warrens, panting but not easily fatigued. She had endurance and had months now of keeping up with him at a rushed pace.

Let's see if he can keep up with her.
Oop! She didn't realize how close he was! He called out to her, calling her little bird again, it made her heart flutter.

She pushed her paws to continue up the path to the peak of First Light Point. She glanced around quickly. She couldn't find a place to hide! The observatory would be an obvious place! Too obvious! Her hesitance made her paws skip and dance, one way then another. She heard him just behind her! She leaped away with a squeal!
